This years Jersey Cup Final held at Easington Sports FC promised to be a well contested match after a great league fixture earlier in the season. The high swirling wind would have a say on the matter. Kings Sutton made their mark by scoring four times before the break and seemingly have the result in the bag. The second half with Deddington kicking with the wind had other ideas and gradually pulling back the deficit an inspired substitution J. Thornton came on and score two earning himself MOM and sending the game into extra time. Deddington scoring their fifth goal held on and secured the victory.
