Division One team Barford started this game as the underdogs to Premier side Hethe after a frantic first 10 mins Barford’s James Castle scored followed 10 mins later from a bullet shot from Sean Wilson. Hethe picked up the pace and Vincent Orrey scored to bring them back into the game. Pressure from the start of the second half from Hethe’s Adam Hall brought him the second goal and the score level. The remainder was a tactical match with both teams having chances and both keepers playing well to keep the score level until the 70 minute when James Castle headed a looping ball over the Hethe goalkeepers outstretched hand to give Barford the victory. Man of the Match was awarded to Vincent Orrey (Hethe) The Cup was presented by Mr Norman Stacey (Ardley FC)
